These terms govern your use of happydressers.com and any purchase you make from us. By using this site or placing an order you agree to them. Please read them carefully.

1. Who we are

happydressers.com is operated by Happy Dressers, 12 Nasmyth Ct, Livingston EH54 5EG, UK. In these terms “we”, “us” and “our” mean Happy Dressers; “you” means the customer.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to place an order. You confirm that the information you give us is accurate and complete.

3. Products and descriptions

We take care to describe and photograph our products accurately, including fabric composition, measurements and care instructions. Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen. We do not warrant that a product will meet a subjective expectation that is not stated in its description.

4. Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation. We may decline an order — for example if an item is out of stock, if there is a pricing error, or if we suspect fraud — and if we do, we refund you in full.

5. Prices and payment

All prices are in Pounds Sterling (GBP £) and include VAT where applicable. The price charged is the price displayed at the time you order. Delivery is free within the United Kingdom. See our Payment Methods page for accepted methods.

If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to an error, we will contact you before dispatch and give you the choice of paying the correct price or cancelling for a full refund.

6. Delivery

Delivery timings are set out in our Shipping Policy. Estimates are given in good faith but are not guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

7. Returns, refunds and cancellation

Your return, refund and statutory cancellation rights are set out in our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, photographs, graphics, logos and layout — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may view and print pages for your own personal use. You may not reproduce, republish or use our content commercially without our written permission.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use this site unlawfully, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, to introduce malicious code, to scrape it systematically, or to use it in a way that damages or disrupts it for others.

10. Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Subject to that, our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

11. Events outside our control

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier disruption, extreme weather, industrial action or supply failure. We will tell you promptly and offer a refund if a significant delay occurs.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force when you place your order is the version that applies to that order.
